Data security and encryption

Compliant with TCG Opal 2.0, our self-encrypting drives (SEDs) support AES-256 encryption, BitLocker and IEEE 1667 features, as well as pre-boot authentication (PBA). Custom data sanitization and Tamper-Proof Firmware encryption are available upon request to deliver enhanced protection against security challenges in the connected era.

Dual power loss protection (PLP)

In the event of a sudden power failure, our hardware and firmware power loss protection provides two invaluable extra lines of defense against data integrity issues. This guarantees that all in-flight data is safely stored before the controlled storage device shuts down.

Wide temperature ranges and ruggedization

Exascend products are designed to operate in extreme temperatures ranging from -40°C to 85°C. We also offer underfill and conformal coating technologies to ensure resistance against vibrations, shocks and pressure, enabling us to overcome demanding challenges.

High-capacity storage in a variety of form factors

Our SSD portfolios offer up to 8 TB of storage and include NVMe and SATA-III interfaces in different form factors, including:

  • PCIe NVMe: E1.S, M.2, and U.2
  • SATA-III: M.2, 2.5-inch, and mSATA
We also offer e.MMC, industrial-grade SD, microSD, CFast and CFexpress for automotive applications and systems.

Our proprietary Adaptive Thermal Control™ technology improves system thermals, airflow, and acoustic design complexity, helping reduce the entire system BOM cost. Additionally, our exclusive firmware technology, SuperCruise™, can optimize write performance for stability over time, providing enhanced performance and reliability.

IATF 16949 certified

Exascend production line became officially IATF 16949:2016 certified in 2022, confirming full compliance with the rigorous automotive requirements and international standards. Our SSDs are manufactured entirely in Taiwan and fully compliant with the Trade Agreements Act (TAA) as well.
